Our 6-step approach to building your new home helps you through the process with no surprises.

  • 1. Pick Your Community

    • Love where you live. Find the perfect homesite and neighborhood for your lifestyle. Whether it’s a quick commute to work, good schools, or urban living, one of our 60-plus new-home communities will be right for you and your family. Our CBH Homes Sales Specialists and mortgage planners will process your loan applications, approvals, permits and purchase agreements.

  • 2. Choose a Floor Plan

    • Now that you know where you want to live, let’s decide how you want to live. Browse through over 100 floor plans, and find a home that works for your family and your lifestyle. We’ll also help you finalize the interior and exterior details and finishes.

  • 3. Home Purchase & Lending

    • Building your dream home is exciting! You’ll probably have a lot of questions along the way, too. Especially when it comes to the mortgage application. We’ll be right beside you through these next four steps.

      • 1. Your Sales Center Sales Coach, a licensed real estate agent, will have you sign a purchase and sale agreement.
      • 2. Our new-home loan mortgage planners will assist you with your loan application and the approval process, as well as provide a good faith estimate for financing. Call us at 208.955.9900 with any questions or email us at info@cbhhomes.com
      • 3. Once your offer has been finalized and a valid loan commitment has been received, we’ll submit construction plans to the city to secure the proper permits. Acquiring permits can take between two and four weeks.
  • 4. Customize at our Design Studio

    • Make your new home, well, YOUR new home. Visit the CBH Design Studio in Meridian to see thousands of options for your home. Choose cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, paint colors, fixtures—all the little things that make a big impact. And if you aren’t sure what your style is yet, our design specialists can help you decide.

  • 5. Build

    • CBH Homes eats, sleeps, and breathes home building. While you get ready to for the big move, we are building your home to the highest standard of efficiency and quality. We know you’re eager to get into your new home, so here is what you can expect in the our 60-day construction phase:

      • Foundation is poured.
      • Framing begins.
      • Heating, cooling and electrical installed.
      • Siding, insulation and sheetrock goes in.
      • Interior and exterior painting and cabinetry installation.
      • Flooring installed, along with doors and millwork.
      • Concrete flatsquwork and appliances installed.
      • Fencing and landscaping goes in.
      • Final detail, cleaning and inspection.
  • 6. Move In

    • It’s time to go home. Pick up your keys and step into your new life! Congratulations, you are a home owner!
